OUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT
Well this was in 1991 our first show together, the SZFS club show at Larkhall.
The best thing about it was that we never exspected to win anything, a place in the first seven
would have been good enough.
That day we won best Novice, Best Novice Breeder with a pair of Fawns, we had first & third
in that class of 26.
The memory of that win will always stay with us probably becouse the competition was brilliant,
S&B Carter, I&B Mulcaster, R&J Anderson and many more quality fanciers and friends.

SZFS Success
This year we had a good show at Scotlands premier show, winning alot of specials.
Including some best of colour awards, our adult birds did particularly well.
Adam
I started zebras in 1986, i was bought two pair by my mum for my birthday.
They where pet type birds but my fascination grew quickly and i soon built a shed, or more like a shack as i was only
14 at the time.
It all grew from there and here i am now panel judge and all who would have thought it way back then.
Dougie
I started a bit later going into partnership with Adam in July 1991 after his friend started working in Portugal.
We had a successful start right from the beggining and have continued ever since.
My first zebra was a crest that i was given from the late Brian Binns and just like Adam it all started there.
OUR NEW PROJECT
Over the past few years we have been breeding CFW cheeks and it has been good breeding such a rare colour, along with
George & Jill Lewsey we are the only ones to exhibit these to this date.
Currently we have produced two nice hens this season, so we need a couple of cocks to match them.
